No doubt Rome thought – and at one time was – special.\u00a0 But Rome begged random barbarians for salvation.\u00a0 Russia did not transition from Czar to western democracy – but rather a hellish utopian elite monstrosity. Why shoudn’t it happen here – or is the public sector Peronism of South America our destiny.<\/p>\n
